Delamag MgO - Technical Ceramics - Electrical Grade Magnesium
Delamin manufacture high purity Magnesium Oxide powder for technical ceramic applications. These applications include powders for dental investments, powder fill, block fill, crushable and extruded ceramics.
Our powders are manufactured under strict process conditions. This process is engineered to minimise pick up of trace elements, thus maintaining the chemical composition of raw material feed stocks.
Our MgO powders are closely monitored for chemical integrity, consistent particle size distribution curves and reactivity. Each batch of Delamag carries a certificate of compliance matching the criteria of specific applications.
- Chemical analysis is measured using both ICP (inductively coupled plasma) and bead analysis.
- Sulphur levels are monitored using LECO.
- Particle size is measured on line utilizing a Malvern Mastersizer 2000 E.
- Reactivity tests are measured utilising citric acid and ammonium phosphate test methods.
