Delamin

Salt Bath Nitriding (Ferritic Nitro Carburising) Process

Delamin’s  considerable experience, gained over many years in both the sourcing and manufacture of chemicals as well as its reputation as an International ISO 9001 :2008 Registered Quality Supplier provides the company with a unique advantage in the ability to supply a complete range of Nitriding salts meeting  the quality requirements of AMS 2753 [Liquid Salt-Bath Nitrocarburizing] at very competitive prices.

Delamin’s experience in the Nitriding market began in 1999 as the source of the salt-bath Regenerator  sold in the U.S. market by a major U.S. supplier. In 2003, Delamin expanded its product capability by establishing a production facility in Europe for the manufacture of Base Salt.

In 2007, the final salt product, the Quench Salt was added.
Today we are supplying a number of markets with all three products.

Product Names & Description:

DEL-NITE  -  Nitriding Base Salt - A cyanide-free product manufactured using cyanate technology to meet the applicable chemistry standards for salt bath nitriding  as required by AMS 2753C.

DEL-GEN  Premium - Nitriding Bath Regenerator Salt - A highly efficient nitriding bath additive salt used to maintain the chemistry of the operating bath within the desired specification limits.

DEL-QUENCH - Oxidizing Bath Quench Salt - A post-nitride quench salt used as part of the standard nitriding process to achieve both a non-hazardous process waste-stream as well as developing an attractive black finish on the nitrided parts. Available as either a standard grade or high-nitrate (HN) grade product. Available in Drums or Supersacks.

Technical Support.

A staff Metallurgical Engineer with extensive experience in salt bath nitriding is available to answer questions or advise customers on any matters involving either nitriding process issues or component applications.
