Delacal - Nitrogen Flame Retardants
Delacal is a range of melamine homologues. These homologues have higher thermal stability compared to pure melamine and melamine cyanurate. In extreme processing temperatures this range of products offer an alternative nitrogen source with reduced mould deposits.
There are three homologues: - Delacal 360 generically known as Melam (1,3,5-triazine – 2,4,6,triamine – n (4,6 diamino-1,3,5 triazine – 2-yl)
Delacal 500 generically known as Melon (poly [8-amino -1,3,4,6,7,9,9b – heptaazaphalene 2 – 5 diyl] imino)

Delacal 500 is used in niche applications where thermal stability and char stability are important. This grade can be used in extreme processing conditions.
Delacal synergizes and is compatible with all phosphate and phosphinates.
